True to form, the wind died today. I got to town in the morning to see the river all smooth and glassy...

After checking the iWindsurf.com forecast in Windance, I returned at 4 to find a nice steady breeze.

Launched at the Marina on my big kit, smiling smugly at the locals whose biggest sail was a 5.0... Had a good couple of hours, very comfortable and getting used to the Carve. The footstraps are a pain though - I think the designer had a fetish for Kylie and her size 3 feet, no good for those of us with spades at the ends of our legs.

And for the first time, I managed to tack and uphaul the Carve with a heavy 6.8 to boot. All in all a good time.
